During college, I did a Big Four internship that I didn’t love, so I started searching for mid-size firms and found GBM! A mid-size firm with growth opportunities and clients in my community excited me. The combination of everyone’s kindness and knowledge during the interview process also solidified that GBM was somewhere I could enjoy coming to work and grow.

During the time I have been at GBM, I feel that I have learned a lot about the world of accounting and auditing! There are two ways GBM has helped me in my career development that stand out:

(1) Our coaching program. Having a mentor with more experience has been so helpful in learning how to audit, and I appreciate that my coach keeps me accountable for my goals (like working toward my CPA license).

(2) The opportunities for continuing education that are provided. I appreciate the CPE resources the firm provides, especially those that involve collaborating with other professionals and learning how other people do things.
