Our People

Mackenzie is a member our tax team at Gilliam Bell Moser. She assists with corporate, partnership, and individual tax return preparation. Mackenzie recently graduated from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Before joining GBM, Mackenzie developed her accounting skills through a substantial internship in Thomasville, NC, lasting nearly five years. There, she gained experience in a range of accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll, preparing 1099s, property tax listings, and creating depreciation schedules. Additionally, Mackenzie served as a Finance Intern for Casa Por Cristo in El Paso, TX, during the previous summer.

Mackenzie started her role with GBM in January 2024 and is from High Point, NC. Her various internships have equipped her with a practical understanding of accounting, which she continues to expand in her current role at GBM.

Mackenzie Burke enjoys horseback riding, crafting yarn blankets, and making memories with her Alpha Chi Omega sorority sisters.
